“I would like to talk with<\/strong> you” expresses togetherness, a two-way conversation, a much kinder expression<\/p>\n

Note: Say me<\/em> is not usual.\u00a0 Use Tell me<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Note II: You can order people to speak by using quoted (reported) speech<\/p>\n

x: Say to me that you love me (correct grammar but not usual)<\/p>\n

Don’t tell<\/strong> him!<\/p>\n

Apologise to<\/strong> the boss, now!<\/p>\n

talk \/ Shout + at<\/h5>\n

This implied the force of communication is not precise, it’s blasting an area, it’s a one way communication.<\/p>\n

Please don’t shout at<\/strong> me!<\/p>\n

This guy was talking at<\/strong> me all day, what an ass.<\/p>\n

Shout + to<\/h5>\n

This is precising, normally because there is a need to, because of a noisy location etc.<\/p>\n

He shouted<\/strong> the names to<\/strong> me<\/p>\n

He shouted to<\/strong> them from the rooftop<\/p>\n

Call \/ cry \/ Shout + out<\/h5>\n

This shows that it was loud enough that other people could hear it. It’s possible to add + to<\/strong> + subject.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He shouted out<\/strong> the names of the participants<\/p>\n

He called out<\/strong> the names of the top 8<\/p>\n

He shouted out<\/strong> in pain<\/p>\n

They\u00a0cried out<\/strong> in pain<\/p>\n
