Take the role of A.<\/p>\n<p>A: (very polite greeting \/ chat)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B: Good morning<\/span><\/p>\n<p>A: (start and introduce the meeting.\u00a0 The agenda: country of manufacture, choice of colour, quantity of order. Ask about AOB)<\/p>\n<p>B: No, that&#8217;s fine.<\/p>\n<p>A:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Introduce the first topic<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Compare India, China and Morocco)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ask for questions<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B: yes, why don&#8217;t we order from a French company?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A: (politely refuse this idea because it&#8217;s too expensive due to tax and the French company will probably import from China anyway)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B: I have a friend in Marseille who produces shirts, it&#8217;s a family business and he&#8217;s expanding, he&#8217;s due to open a store in Paris this year &#8211; <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A: (interrupting positively) <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(ask for the details to be emailed so we can compare the costs.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B: oh okay then<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A: (Conclude point 1, move onto point 2)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Choice of colours: compare and give your opinion on best colour due to season and market trend-prepare to be interrupted )<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B: interrupting &#8211; actually my friend, \u00a0said that the colour-<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A: ask to finish your point first<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B: oh sorry, go ahead \/ please continue<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A: (finish your point, ask B to continue their original point that you interrupted)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B: bla bla bla bla <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A: (thank B for their comment, conclude, move onto<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> point 3: quantity &#8211; small medium or a large amount. You think a large quantity is best, a<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">sk for opinion on which order to make)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B: \u00a0a small order might be good, we would have a smaller risk<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A: (disagree, give a reason, ask for opinion on larger order)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B: but that&#8217;s very expensive a medium order would be better probably <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A: (partly agree, point out cheaper cost of larger order)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B: I see I see, maybe we should go for the largest order then<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A: (agree strongly)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B: well that&#8217;s agreed then, let&#8217;s do that<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A: (finish, conclude, arrange next meeting to discuss costs of using friend\u2019s business)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B: Actually that won&#8217;t be necessary, let&#8217;s just go with your proposal<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A: (agree, next meeting is to discuss funding sources and anything else, confirm time, thanks, end)<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This roleplay is designed for a student and teacher, with more focus for the student to speak.
