Future simple: an action in the future<\/h1>\n<p>Example:\u00a0<strong>I will buy<\/strong> that game!<\/p>\n<p>This action starts in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Future simple<br \/>\n<strong>(subject) + will + (infinitive<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>without\u00a0to<\/strong>)<\/p>\n<p><strong>I will see <\/strong>Andy tomorrow. \u00a0<strong>Terry will be<\/strong> there.<\/p>\n<p><em>Do not use the to-infinitive<\/em><br \/>\nO: <strong>I&#8217;ll buy<\/strong> that DLC<br \/>\nX: I&#8217;ll to buy that DLC<\/p>\n<p>This is an action that will happen in the future. We are 100% sure.<\/p>\n<p>More examples:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It&#8217;s Monday today, <strong>it will be<\/strong> Tuesday tomorrow.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>results will arrive<\/strong> soon.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I&#8217;ll be<\/strong> there for you<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Future continuous: an action that continues at a time in the future<\/h1>\n<p>Describe a subject in the middle of an action.<\/p>\n<p>Example:\u00a0Don&#8217;t call me at midnight, <strong>I&#8217;ll be sleeping<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>The action started before the time and will finish after. It is active at this time. (It does not express plans)<\/p>\n<p>You see a great offer online. You say &#8220;<strong>I&#8217;ll buy<\/strong> that!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>You see a nice item on the menu: &#8220;<strong>I&#8217;ll have<\/strong> that!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Your friend says he has lost his wallet: &#8220;Do you need some cash? <strong>I&#8217;ll lend<\/strong> you some!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>After arranging an event: &#8220;OK, <strong>I&#8217;ll see<\/strong> you then!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>future continuous<\/strong>\u00a0shows an action that continues in the future. The speaker is <strong>in the middle of the action<\/strong>.
