The stick that has made the happiest so far is actually a mod based on the datel - I have found the distance between the buttons and stick more preferable. All the Hori / TE models have their buttons too close to the stick. Perhaps it's because western hands are generally bigger? I'm not sure but I'm not comfortable using them.
