I just downloaded it but it seems no one else has :O

I cant be arse writting the whole thing again but heres in deatils of changes. if you are awake MKSWOLF and GunSmith join me to try this shait

I havent tried it yet ill have a look.

i haven't gotten anything yet, no patch or anything. quite unfortunate, because this night was the night i tried to go back to playing kofxiii online, and i regretted it. met evenor and he creamed me and i couldn't adjust to the lag for the life of me--no hit confirms, nothin', latent movement and i was just getting frustrated again and wondered why i kept trying

BECAUSE I LOVE THE GAME THATS WHY. it's the netcode i can't stand. evenor seems to have adjusted well to it though, so if it never gets better for me, i might end up having to do the same ._.

I've barely noticed any difference. Perhaps this addresses the 360 net > PS3 net that was on the front page? Just bringing us in line with them and not the full net patch. At least I hope not.

I just downloaded it too and although I only played 3 different ppl, 2 of the games still had lag.
although as stated before, since plugging in my ethernet cable rather than wireless the lag has been nowhere near as bad, same with discon issues.

I never set the latency and match completion high though so maybe that will make the difference.

I just played another one and I had no lag ( 2 bars ) . the synch screen is gone between rounds. im recording a video later on

wow the patch is actually really, REALLY fucking good. i played against somebody i know (sweden, netherlands) and before our connection was terrible. before we had 3 bars, now we have 4, still wireless and got my internet downgraded but still very playable. wakeups are still iffy at times though.

The patch is coming out on PS3 first and will hit Xbox 360 later. Apparently they're promising some additional features as well as adjusted networking code.

good, so they've fixed the reset colours and replay save deleting bugs

As for the netcode, it's weird. Very very weird.

I usually play with Mature and MKSWolf. Both connections to them have become HORRIBLE. MKSWolf now rates at 3 bar but it plays like 2. Mature is normally 3 bar but now 1bar, and stutters all over the place.

I played Mienaikage and ran comparisons with 360 on a wired connection. He ran pings while we were playing.
He said after playing on both consoles with me:
"Looks like the highest jumped up to 140ms
We average at about 50-60
At it's lowest we get into the high 40s
And there was a timeout right there for some reason, but whatever
As primarily a 360 player I'm admitting that PS3 feels better
If there was a difference between host and client on PS3 it was very minor"

I have a very crazy idea to what's happened to my connections and will test again tonight

I used to play against you with green bars or the leats of yellow bars about 2 weeks ago but I have noticed that your inet has gone tits up lately thats why i feel that it has more to do with your provider than the actual game itself :O

you can use neostick and any stick too.

I played a few matches, I'm finding a lot more people with reasonable pings. Even 2 bars now is quite playable, though hardly ideal. 3 bars is just right.

i finally got the patch, and it is finally playable, and i'm enjoying it, and also seeing how shitty i am, though my first match online was more like stagefright, but even level 2 connections are good, haven't tried a level 1 or 0 yet, but i don't really intend to

id like to point out 4 is the only playable one, and you'll still have troubles at times like during wake up. so its def not perfect yet. anything below 4 is not playable imo. what use is playing kof when you cant play it the way you want to or how it should be played? just because you can play 2 or 3 doesn't mean it's good, especially when 4 is even far from perfect. that being said, it improved a whole fucking lot compared to what it used to be.

also will we getting another patch to actually improve the netcode or is this it?
