Hey guys, it's been forever since I've been here. I hope everyone is well.

KOF XIII is the first KOF I've taken seriously since 98/2k.

I'm using both Kyo's, Flames Iori, K', Mature, Vice.

I'm looking for a good anchor. I'll probably be using NESTS Kyo, Flames Iori, x Unknown

Who is a good character to use as anchor and good to learn the Hyperdrive combo system with?

I can't use Ralf properly without SAB, and Clark's SAB is too low damage.

Any thoughts or advice is great, thanks.

K' or kyo would be good because if you do meter they can build it back up fairly quick, but someone like vice is best at anchor (ex hcf+BD is a must use) but harder to build with her.

Yea I say Kyo also. He has a little of everything and is a safe bet as anchor. His combos are nice for learning the games system mechanics as well.

Tried out Mr Karate, he's pretty cool. Not sure what else to say about him because I only did a few of his trials.

I'm suprised at the ball top too, it should have come with the bat stick. But I want the ball :D

The stick is a few centimetres smaller than a qanba, and the button placement is perfect for me. The components are stock but can easily be replaced. Not that anyone complained about replacing neogeo stick parts. Button complaints are more often than not just another excuse for poor execution...

I think the photo angle makes it look like a ball but its actually goes all the way down getting narrower as it drops Image
it was on offer at bonanza but the offer is over now.
I like the button lay out, top 4 are taunt and kicks whilst bottom 4 are roll and punches.

So, I beat KOF with every team, but there's still two missing endings in arcade mode, anyone know what the last two teams are?

On the gallery where the arcade mode endings are there are also segments from story mode, have you unlocked bad ending where you lose in story mode ?
Just been using Mr Karate....his theme tune and neo max move reminds me so much of samurai shodown.

Some casuals, not hot enough for the video thread, but still kinda funny on it's own accord. If you can get the rambling and recognize the BGMs, that's always a plus.

I always loved that character select music in fatal fury.
Just the other day I had the BGM turned off and was playing fatal fury 2 tunes from youtube during fights but it didnt feel the same as my laptop sound is crap.
