Personally I prefer tutorials to use info from in-fight footage; whenever I need to teach someone something I do it in an actual fight and not in practice, it's just more believable that way.

BTW Gosho and Adachi have some pretty fun Clark, it kinda shows why Clark is still popular in japan even though he doesn't have "that many moves" and how he isn't that high in the tier ranks.

Good write up Robocop Two. Personally I like using the Ex Gatling as a starter (course you can add the d.B, d.A or j.D, s.D...) into Vulcan Punch [2hits], C Gatling Attack, A Gattling Attack x2, j.D for the 1 stock/1 drive combo of choice. Getting used to that combo helps because Ex Gatling's invincibility comes in handy in sticky situations.

Just wanted to correct this, unless he's including jump ins, which is still not 65%, the combo above only does 524 using 2 stocks+1 drive wheras: s.D, df.A, Ex Vulcan, hcb x2+P DM does 550 and uses 2 stocks+0 drives.

The latest batch of nohohon vids (aka I updated the video thread) has a pretty sexy Clark player, though the player behaves as if he is just adjusting to the game (I wonder if is a 95' or 98' regular who is making a come back?).

Vid here if you rather embed; but you'll have to stand or skip or watch the first 3 Clarkless minutes, since I don't know how to embed at a certain specific time.


BTW, the player has also a pretty ok Ralf and has more fight within the next parts of the nohohon matches, so be sure to check the video thread; nohohon matches are at the bottom of the post. There is also a decent Mature there.

I saw the new Clark cancelling the grabs with a DM and was impresive! XD

Also the auto guard on the grab is so fuking incredible O_O, but it is like "slow" , so I was wondering, does Clark now on console has 2 GRABS? One short, quick and without auto guard (with low kick I think) , as well other slow, with auto-guard used on the videos (with strong kick I think) ???!!

I don't know if now with the different buttons he has different grabs O_o?

Hey guys, I was working my way through the console trials and I find it impossible to perform Clark's 4th trial: sB, sC (1 hit), df+A > hcb x 2 + A/C

I was wondering if you could spare a tip for performing the last part (df+A into UAB) since I just can't get it to work consistently. I'm playing on pad and I was wondering if there's some sort of shortcut for this kind of motion? I have a similar problem performing dp+C into hcbx2 + A/C with Kula, so I'm guessing it's a general thing. Should I just work on my speed while executing this or is there some sort of trick to performing it faster?

Just skip it. Remember that you can do more moves that the ones advertised in the trial, so you can do C , command move, EX throw and super cancel and it will count. For Kula there it was also a super easy version to skip it, but I can't remember it now.





That "free cancel the vulcan punch on it's first frame" is a total bitch for me to do, to the point that at first I though that it didn't make it into the game. Then again, I'm unnaturally bad with tapping moves on pad, probably could pull it of if I was on an arcade machine. :lol:

Hey, thanks for the tip. I figured you could just extend the combo and the game would interpret it as valid anyways. I did do that with Kula's trial, extending the DP+C into qcb+K via DC into I don't remember what into Freeze Execution and I remember it working. Regardless, I would really like to know if there's a way to perform that combination "legitimately". Is there a shortcut? can you buffer it somehow? I tried doing hcb+P into df+A into hcb+P again to see if it would buffer the first hcb but it seems to forget that input once I input the df+A.

I think I did it with the df .A as part of one of the HCB's. I don't remember if it was HCB fwd df .A QCB .C or fwd df .A QCB HCB .C. Either way it needs to be done really fast and requires very specific timing on the button press.
