Small post to diverge basic doubts about what has been said about the game so far:

ARCADE RELEASE : Late july.
console release : unspecified for the moment.
+ The game runs in a Taito Type X2 board (just like the previous one).
+ Storyline, supposedly finishes the arc started in '2003. There is character text interaction like in SvC Chaos
+ Currently there are 31 playable characters. It's hard to tell if that's going to be the final number. The complete cast of XII made the cut
+ Currently, every known character has at least one new move. The complete length of the final move list is unknown. Furthermore, most of the XII chars have gained new normal moves (more far standing or close standing attacks).
+ EX moves, by using a power bar you can improve some special moves adding effects to them (amount of hits, invincibility, range, speed, etc). Most DMs can be improved by adding an extra power bar to the move. EX moves are not particularly different visually from their normal counterparts (this goes for DMs as well).
+ 6 characters have not been mentioned yet, but reasonable speculations about them are everywhere.
+ Most KoF XII unique game systems got canned (critical counter, guard attack, chargable CDs).
+ Speed and game mechanics mirror older kofs. (doko /max mode cancels, super cancels, throw ~ throw escapes, 3 to 5 power bars)
+ Default Teams have their own BGMs.
+ There are many selectable color palettes for each character. The game shows you a sample of them prior to select them.
+ There are many stages, most of KoF XII stages are being reused, but have been retweaked so much that they are hard to recognize at first glance (so, they smell like new anyway). Most of the stages are visually appealing.
+ Art work is completely new, by the same drawer.
+ The counter stuns that where akin to Garou are still in the game, but unlike XII where every strong attack stunned you in counter, here only some attacks cause those counter stuns (an example being Ryo's forward + ).
+ The new system is called Neo Max. It's a "new" really big and exaggerated type of DM that uses 3 bars. Just like leader DMs you can cancel normal DMs with these moves, but it's unknown if there are special conditions aside the HD bar needed to achieve that. That would mean that currently we have EX moves (waste 1 power bar) DMs (waste 1 power bar) EX DMs (waste 2 power bars) and Neo DMs (waste 3 power bars).

Hi, im a noob to this place, but not to the series, i just wanted to know if anyone knows the release date(or any info) of the PS3 version?
