He was a solid character in KOF2003, although a bit harder to use than he was in 2002 (I still haven't gotten his pressure strings down pat -_-).

He doesn't appear to have changed much for this new KOF, so I'll probably be keeping him on my team.

I spent days practicing the new combos I picked up with Terry in KOF'03, and im happy. I guess i'll be the first to say something since I dont know anything about Terry in XI...

Does he play the same? Or does he have a new DM/LDM? I remember reading somewhere that one of his DM's or LDM might have changed to a giant Power Geyser. That would be really sweet, though probably a step back from uniqueness (regardless of the damage). But then again Power Stream was kinda useless since once the enemy left the screen it stopped dealing damage. It just looked cool IMO but it felt weak.

I remember seeing a video where Terry hit a knock-down opponent with power stream but I never attempted it.

From his movelist, it looks like he hasn't changed much at all, which is fine by me, really. He was a solid character in KOF2003, and the same should hold true in XI.

I never really used Terry as leader...usually kept K' or Ryo for that spot.

Oh ok, well I never use Terry as my Leader either, the majority of the time its K', Iori, Kyo or Robert (Modified Dragon Kick pwns). I still prefer he had a better LDM though, but if that hasn't changed then I guess its back to my regular ways.

Terry is one of my favorite characters in 2003. I like the Power Stream even though it doesn't do much damage if the initial sphere doesn't connect. A lot of times I just use it defensively as a "Get out of my face!" type of move. If I want damage or anti-air ability, I use Buster Wolf or A button Power Geyser.

Just remembered that CD attacks are back in this game...in which case, I wonder if Terry will retain his +D command attack in KOFXI. That thing was basically just his CD attack in the first place. It'd be kind of a loss if it were removed though - it made for nice and easy tap combos and pressure to Power Charge.

Or maybe they'll give him a new CD attack?

you mean the cd attacks of kof, are you sure, i don't know because c+d in this game is throw...

hey guys, does terry regain his rising tackle (d+u version) in XI? It's a move that i've definately been missing.

sumhow doubt it considering he's in MOTW mode.

He's been in my team for every Kof so far, but i have to admit....he is seeming to be a little to old for Kof now, but Terry still has a lot of fans that still uses him (like me!)

Speaking as an avid Terry fan, the older he gets, the stronger he becomes. I'm still looking for the arcade of KOF XI in my region. Hopefully, he's still as big of a threat as he was in any of the titles he has been in. (Still, kinda miss the +p Rising tackle from KOF 97, Would've been nice if they went and brought it back and made his CD T.O.P attack from MOTW a d, u + K , followed by + K for the dunk 8) KOF '99 anyone? )
