If he's at least as good as in 2003, I'm happy

I've recently become very fond of playing Griffon, although they need to fix his stupid run that makes him move slower than his walking speed. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing the range on his GEEK WHORE GRIFFON extended slightly, just a tiny bit more.

His range in 2k3 was ALREADY scary! The characters are imbalanced if I can use Daimon, Griffon and Maxima to grapple opposition to bits... Yeah.
A tiny bit more eh? I am against it, sadly.

Daimon, yes.
Griffon, maybe.
Maxima? ROFL, hell no.
But coming back to the subject...I wonder if Griffon still has that great d.A of his. That thing was so freaking annoying to get out of :X

I wonder what his Dream Cancel might be
[Something stylish] xx Quick Shift to Tizoc xx heavy punch to (special) xx BIIIIG FAAAAAAAAAAAALL.
How stylish might that be?
Any idea someone what his Dream Cancel is?

According to the Arcadia scans. his Dream Cancel is his Daedalus Attack (qcfx2+K). Makes sense.
Poseidon wave (rdp+P) is his super cancel.

Can you super cancel his posiden wave spicial into his super because I 've already done a into
+a as a combo and I also have dreamcanceled his qcfx2 into his leader special so it would be a kick ass combo.
Can some one confirm?

It was his supercancel in 2K3 as well, and you could SC it into Daedalus Attack, but only 2 of the hits would connect (and did crap damage to boot).
I don't know if the properties of the move have changed in XI.

A super cancel off poseidon wave will usually land the first 2 hits, rarely 3.
Obviously a Dream Cancel won't grab out of the air (this ain't Kyo) so it's no go.
Interestingly, when quick shifting off the wave nothing will hit. AA supers go right through, rush supers will reset the opponent to standing but not hit. Other 'sure juggles' won't juggle.

Just to say that his dream cancel grabs in air like kyo's one
after the second hit of the daidalos attack, you can dream cancel it, even if the oponent is in the air, but he as to be close enough to make the LDM grabing it.
So his "big damage combo" is :
C,
C, qcfx2 K [DC at second hit] hcbx2 E

So it does catch in the air? if your close enough...
New combo sA, cC d/fD I think gcfX2+k will hit not sure though someone test...
