Orochinagi: The King of Fighters

yeahhhh, that’s if you want to settle for bog standard blogging.  Well, after er… four hours or so, it seems to be at least coloured a bit more to my tastes.  The colour scheme could probably be a bit better I suppose.  Hmmm might fiddle a bit further down the line.  I used the “Willy the Cat” theme and changed the colors from pink to purple… had a bit of a weird time with transparent gifs that came in the pack – why does anyone still use these?  And if so, why weren’t these gifs actually transparent?  I suppose they were still smaller than jpegs… but they could have actually been useful with transparencies.

Before the KOF site closed up its blog and focused on the forums, the wordpress blog software seemed a bit limited.  However, when I downloaded version 2.7.1, I noticed things have seriously progressed.  There are oodles of options, and most bots will be staved off (apparently) while uploading and installing to the server really would take 5 mins, that is, if you knew all your database names, logins and passwords.  It was between wordpress and blogger, but the clincher was simply that I could implement my google adsense account and the wordpress themes seemed far more robust (there’s one crazy theme that actually works like windows vista!).  But enough… I’m knackered!

At 2.36 in the morning, I’ll shove in a few more plugins and then call it a night… i.e. get back to watching the watchmen motion comic…
